U.S. largest show for media, entertainment held in Las Vegas

LOS ANGELES, April 17 (Xinhua) -- More than 1,000 exhibitors are gathering in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the annual show organized by the U.S. National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), the largest show for media, entertainment and technology.

Participants, including over 140 first-time exhibitors, are showcasing the latest trends and technologies driving the future of media and entertainment across four exhibit areas at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The show, which runs from Saturday to Wednesday, offers an platform for the media and entertainment professionals to share their experiences and knowledge, and discover innovative ways to advance their experiences.

The show floor is filled with latest technology, hardware, software and products driving the next generation of storytelling.

A training event is held on the sidelines of the five-day show, focusing on the range of techniques and best practices available to cinematographers, camera operators, owner operators, digital imaging techs, and other crew members in the field of camera and sound.

This year, the NAB show is celebrating its centennial year. The first NAB show was held in New York in 1923.
