At least 54 vehicles collide in Türkiye due to snow

ANKARA, March 30 (Xinhua) -- Heavy snowfall and frosting caused a multiple-vehicle collision on Thursday in the northwestern province of Bolu in Türkiye, the IHA News agency reported.

At least 54 vehicles were involved in the traffic accident as a result of the slippery road, the agency reported.

Bolu crossing of the Trans European Motorway that connects Istanbul to Ankara was closed due to the accident.

Several injured people were taken to hospitals, the agency reported.
