TEHRAN -- Iran said on Tuesday that it has started to produce more 60-percent enriched uranium as part of its retaliatory measures against a recent anti-Iran resolution passed by the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

This is the first time that Iran has begun enriching uranium to 60-percent purity at the underground Fordow nuclear plant located near the northern city of Qom, according to a statement released by the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) on its website.(Iran-IAEA-Uranium Enrichment)

RABAT -- A bus overturned on a highway near the northern Moroccan city of Taza on Tuesday, killing 11 and injuring 43 others, local authorities said in a statement.

The injured were taken to a hospital in Taza and an investigation has been opened into the accident, according to the statement. (Morocco-Bus Accident-Casualties)

ANKARA -- German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser on Tuesday expressed Germany's solidarity with Türkiye in the latter's fight against terrorism, but stressing that it "must be carried out in accordance with the laws of state."

BAGHDAD -- Four people were killed and 43 wounded on Tuesday as a gas tank exploded in a residential area in Duhok Province in Iraq's semi-autonomous region of Kurdistan.

The blast occurred after a leak from a liquefied petroleum gas tank used for heating on the top of a three-storey student dormitory building in the namesake provincial capital Duhok, Fakhri Ahmed, Duhok's police director, told a press conference. (Iraq-Gas Tank Explosion-Kurdistan)
