WTI crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- U.S. oil prices rose on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for November delivery added 69 cents to settle at 88.45 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
