WTI crude futures settle higher


NEW YORK, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- U.S. oil prices rose on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for November delivery added 1.24 U.S. dollars to settle at 87.76 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
