WTI crude futures settle sharply lower

NEW YORK, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- U.S. oil prices tumbled on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for November delivery shed 4.75 U.S. dollars to settle at 78.74 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
