WTI crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- U.S. oil prices rose on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for September delivery added 2.39 U.S. dollars to settle at 90.50 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
