WTI crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, Aug. 17 (Xinhua) -- U.S. oil prices rose on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for September delivery added 1.58 U.S. dollars to settle at 88.11 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
