WTI crude futures settle higher

NEW YORK, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- U.S. oil prices rose on Friday.

The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for September delivery added 47 cents to settle at 89.01 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
