Czech pair Krejcikova/Siniakova win women's doubles at Wimbledon Championships

LONDON, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova of the Czech Republic defeated Zhang Shuai of China and Elise Mertens of Belgium in straight sets to win the women's doubles title at the Wimbledon Championships on Sunday.

Krejcikova/Siniakova broke their opponents twice to take the first set 6-2, before wrapping up the second 6-4.

This is the second Grand Slam title for the Czech pair, who also triumphed at Roland Garros in 2021.
