American Ledecky wins women's 400m freestyle at Budapest worlds

BUDAPEST, June 18 (Xinhua) -- American Katie Ledecky won the women's 400m freestyle in 3:58.15 in the World Swimming Championships to collect her 16th world title on Saturday.

Summer McIntosh of Canada took the silver in 3:59.39, and American Leah Smith pocketed the bronze in 4:02.08.

Chinese Tang Muhan finished 8th in 4:10.70 in her debut worlds.
