Africa's COVID-19 cases surpass 11.7 mln: Africa CDC

ADDIS ABABA, June 14 (Xinhua) -- The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Africa reached 11,700,191 as of Tuesday evening, the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) said.

The specialized healthcare agency of the African Union said the COVID-19 death toll across the continent stands at 253,607 and some 11,063,181 patients have recovered from the disease so far.
