Gunmen kill 360, kidnap 1,389 in three months in NW Nigerian state: report

LAGOS, May 19 (Xinhua) -- A total of 360 people were killed and 1,389 others kidnapped in the first quarter of 2022 in a spate of attacks by gunmen in Nigeria's northwestern state of Kaduna, according to a security report released on Thursday.

In the report, the Kaduna state government said 258 persons were also injured in various attacks and 10 rape cases were recorded in January-March.
