ADDIS ABABA, May 19 (Xinhua) -- The African continent reported 9,188 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours, the Africa Center for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) said Thursday evening.
Figures from the Africa CDC showed that the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases across the continent rose from 11,570,885 Wednesday to 11,580,073 as of Thursday.
