CHICAGO, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange rose on Wednesday on higher than expected U.S. inflation data in April.
The most active gold contract for June delivery rose 12.7 U.S. dollars, or 0.69 percent, to close at 1,853.7 dollars per ounce.
