Saudi to open new rail line reaching Jordanian border: minister

AMMAN, March 28 (Xinhua) -- The visiting Saudi Arabian minister of transport and logistic services said on Monday that Saudi Arabia will open a new rail line that reaches the Jordanian border in a few days, state-run Petra news agency reported.

The new railway will facilitate passenger, cargo and vehicle movement between the two countries, Saleh Al-Jaseer told a meeting organized by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce (JCC).
