Ethiopian gov't, partners deliver aid to 6.4 mln drought-affected people


ADDIS ABABA, March 21 (Xinhua) -- The Ethiopian government on Monday disclosed that the provision of humanitarian assistance is "well underway" targeting some 6.4 million drought-affected people in parts of Ethiopia.

The statement was made by Mitiku Kassa, Commissioner of Ethiopia's National Disaster Risk Management Commission, noting that the support is being provided by the Ethiopian government in collaboration with various humanitarian partners, state-run Ethiopian News Agency (ENA) reported.
