LONDON (Reuters) - Myanmar's ambassador to Britain Kyaw Zwar Minn called on Monday for the release of his country's detained leader Aung San Suu Kyi and ousted President Win Myint, drawing praise from British foreign minister Dominic Raab for his "courage".
In what appeared to be a deepening diplomatic revolt against the junta in Myanmar, the ambassador said he chose "the diplomatic path. The answer to the current crisis can only be at the negotiating table".
