QUITO, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- The Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador on Tuesday reported 293 COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours, for a cumulative total of 251,279 cases.
In its daily report, the ministry also recorded 24 deaths due to the virus, for a total of 10,226, in addition to 4,689 "probable deaths."
