Ryanair reports loss of 306 mln euros in last three months of 2020

DUBLIN, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- Europe's largest budget airline Ryanair said Monday that it suffered a loss of 306 million euros (about 370 million U.S. dollars) in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2021 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the third quarter of the current fiscal year ending on March 31, 2021, the passenger numbers handled by Ryanair fell by 78 percent to 8.1 million from 35.9 million recorded in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year, said the airline in a statement posted on its website.
