CHICAGO, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- Gold futures on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange rose on Friday as investors became uncertain of the stability of the stock markets.
The most active gold contract for April delivery rose 9.1 U.S. dollars, or 0.49 percent, to close at 1,850.3 dollars per ounce.
