China's Zhejiang sees narrower income gap between urban, rural residents


HANGZHOU, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- East China's Zhejiang Province saw a narrower income gap between urban and rural residents following more balanced development during the 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016-2020).

The income ratio between urban and rural residents in the booming coastal province fell from 2.07:1 to 1.96:1 during the period, according to its provincial government work report.
