PARIS, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- French shares rose on Tuesday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 up 0.93 percent, or 51.16 points, to close at 5,523.52 points.
Of the 40 selected large companies, 33 gained in the day.
European commercial real estate company Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield SE advanced 4.31 percent. French multinational automobile manufacturer Renault rose 3.25 percent. French digital transformation leader Atos rose 3.20 percent.
French multinational rolling stock manufacturer Alstom SA lost 1.13 percent. French multinational retailer Carrefour lost 1.08 percent. French omnichannel company Teleperformance went down by 1.01 percent.
