British stocks down 0.22 pct Monday

LONDON, Jan.18 (Xinhua) -- British stocks decreased on Monday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index down by 0.22 percent, or 15.06 points, to close at 6,720.65 points.

Ocado Group, an online grocer, soared 2.55 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. Barclays and NatWest group increased by 1.69 percent and 1.39 percent, respectively.
