HAVANA, Jan. 17 (Xinhua) -- The Cuban Ministry of Public Health reported four deaths and 650 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Sunday, a daily record since the pandemic first hit the country.
"650 new cases were diagnosed, the highest number we have had so far," said the ministry's national director of hygiene and epidemiology Francisco Duran.
