JAKARTA, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- A 6.2-magnitude quake that hit Indonesia's West Sulawesi province in central parts of the country earlier Friday has resulted in casualties and serious damage, according to local media.
Hospitals and office buildings were destroyed in Majene district and Mamuju district in the nearby province of South Sulawesi.
