CAIRO, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) -- Israel reported 9,242 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, pushing its total infections to cross the 500,000-mark. Meanwhile, the daily COVID-19 death toll in Lebanon hit a new record with 76 fatalities.
The total number of COVID-19 infections rose to 508,604, while its death toll climbed to 3,756 with the addition of 61 more fatalities, the Israeli health ministry said.
