Jordan reports 33 COVID-19 deaths, 1,176 new cases

AMMAN, Jan. 12 (Xinhua) -- Jordan on Tuesday reported 33 COVID-19 deaths and 1,176 new cases on Tuesday, increasing the death toll to 4,076 and tally of infections to 309,846, according to a statement by the Ministry of Health.

The statement said that there are currently 13,666 active COVID-19 cases in Jordan, while 1,674 recoveries were registered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 292,104.
