German shares lose 0.55 pct Tuesday

FRANKFURT, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index down 75.52 points, or 0.55 percent, to close at 13,651.22 points.

Chemical and consumer goods company Henkel lost the most among the blue chips, down by 2.62 percent, followed by energy groups RWE and E.ON, which lost 2.45 percent and 2.09 percent respectively.

European multinational online food-delivery service Delivery Hero, European health care company Fresenius SE and Deutsche Bank were the top three winners, rising 5.53 percent, 1.30 percent and 0.67 percent respectively.

Multinational software corporation SAP was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 294.61 million euros (361.52 million U.S. dollars).

China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, lost 8.08 percent to close at 1.72 euros per share on Tuesday.
