Israel reports 4,573 new COVID-19 cases, 438,372 in total

JERUSALEM, Jan. 3 (Xinhua) -- Israel's Ministry of Health reported 4,573 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, bringing the total infections to 438,372.

The death toll of the virus in Israel increased to 3,412 with 28 new fatalities, while the number of patients in serious condition rose from 739 to 761, out of 1,295 hospitalized patients.
