Honda issues massive 1.09 mln vehicle recall in China

BEIJING, Jan. 1 (Xinhua) -- GAC Honda and Dongfeng Honda, two of the Japanese automaker's joint ventures in China, have issued a massive recall of vehicles due to possible fuel pump failure, according to the country's top quality watchdog.

The recall, set to begin on March 31, 2021, will involve a total of 1.09 million vehicles including models like Acura, Civic, Jade, among others, said a statement on the website of the State Administration for Market Regulation.
