FRANKFURT, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged down on Wednesday, with the benchmark DAX index down 42.60 points, or 0.31 percent, to close at 13,718.78 points.
Aircraft engine manufacturer MTU Aero lost 1.98 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by multinational building materials company HeidelbergCement and European health care company Fresenius SE which lost 1.42 percent and 1.28 percent respectively.
