NEW YORK, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices slipped on Monday as traders grew concerned over the demand outlook as the coronavirus infections continued to surge in some major economies.
The West Texas Intermediate for February delivery lost 61 cents to settle at 47.62 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for February delivery decreased 43 cents to close at 50.86 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
