NEW YORK, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) -- The total COVID-19 hospitalizations rose to 7,559 on Sunday in New York State, compared with 7,183 on Saturday, tweeted Governor Andrew Cuomo on Monday.
The state's COVID-19 hospitalizations topped 6,000 on Dec. 15 and has remained above the level ever since.
