China's Huawei donates food items to refugees in Zambia

LUSAKA, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) -- Chinese telecommunications company Huawei Technologies on Monday donated assorted food items to a refugee settlement in Lusaka, the Zambian capital.

The donation, made to the Makeni Refugee Transit Centre situated on the outskirts of the Zambian capital, is worth more than 10,000 U.S. dollars, including mealie-meal, sugar, rice, and cooking oil.
