FRANKFURT, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Tuesday, with the benchmark DAX index up 171.81 points, or 1.30 percent, to close at 13,418.11 points.
Semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies gained the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 4.00 percent. Multinational building materials company HeidelbergCement and multinational chemical and pharmaceutical company Bayer added 3.76 percent and 3.04 percent respectively.
