Two men guilty of manslaughter of 39 Vietnamese people in Essex lorry deaths

LONDON, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- Two men were on Monday found guilty of 39 counts of manslaughter for the Essex lorry deaths in southeast England in October last year, the Essex police said.

Eamonn Harrison, a 24-year-old lorry driver from Northern Ireland, and Gheorghe Nica, 43, from Essex. were found guilty of 39 counts of manslaughter and guilty of one count of conspiracy to assist unlawful immigration, according to the police statement.
