Sugar futures open lower

ZHENGZHOU, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) -- Sugar futures opened lower Wednesday in daytime trading on the Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (ZCE).

The most active sugar contract for May 2021 delivery lost 4 yuan (61 U.S. cents) to open at 5,047 yuan per tonne.
