SYDNEY (Reuters) - New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern defended her country's climate change policies, saying that comments by activist Greta Thunberg suggesting the country lacked ambition referred only to part of New Zealand's goals on climate change.
Thunberg took to Twitter on Dec. 13 to say that New Zealand's "so-called climate emergency declaration" earlier in the month, committing the country to become carbon neutral by 2025, was "of course nothing unique to any nation".
