NAIROBI, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- Kenya on Tuesday vowed to intensify its operations against locusts across the country amid a new wave, an official said on Tuesday.
Cyrus Oguna, government spokesperson told journalists in Nairobi that the desert locusts invaded Kenya from a neighboring country for the second time in November and so far nine counties have been infested by the pests.
