NEW YORK, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- New York City's COVID-19 test positivity rate on a seven-day average went down to 5.53 percent, compared with 6.26 percent one day earlier, Mayor Bill de Blasio tweeted on Sunday.
There were 206 new hospitalizations and 2,209 new cases of the coronavirus in the city, said de Blasio.
