NEW YORK, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- The total number of COVID-19 cases in the United States topped 16 million on Saturday, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.
U.S. COVID-19 case count rose to 16,014,839, with a total of 297,501 deaths, as of 4:26 p.m. local time (2126 GMT), according to the CSSE tally.
