German shares edge down 0.33 pct

FRANKFURT, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- German stocks edged down on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index down 44.53 points, or 0.33 percent, to close at 13,295.73 points.

Automotive manufacturer BMW lost 2.42 percent, the top loser among the blue chips, followed by semiconductor manufacturer Infineon Technologies and Deutsche Bank, which dropped 2.25 percent and 2.11 percent respectively.

European multinational online food-delivery service Delivery Hero gained 3.04 percent, becoming the top gainer. Housing associations Vonovia and Deutsche Wohnen advanced 1.68 percent and 0.95 percent respectively.

Chemical group BASF was the most traded share with a turnover of 341.15 million euros (413.30 million U.S. dollars).

China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, added 0.01 percent to close at 0.986 euros per share on Thursday.
