UK records another 16,578 coronavirus cases with 533 deaths

LONDON, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- Another 16,578 people in Britain have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 1,766,819, according to official figures released Wednesday.

The coronavirus-related deaths in Britain rose by 533 to 62,566, the data showed.
