PARIS, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) -- French shares lost on Tuesday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 down 0.23 percent, or 12.71 points, to close at 5,560.67 points.
French international banking group Credit Agricole S.A. lost 2.66 percent. French banking group Societe Generale and French multinational automobile manufacturer Renault shed 1.53 percent and 1.39 percent respectively.
