PARIS, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- French shares lost on Monday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 down 0.64 percent, or 35.77 points, to close at 5,573.38 points.
French international banking group Credit Agricole S.A. lost 2.90 percent. French banking group Societe Generale and international financial group BNP Paribas edged down 2.73 percent and 2.70 percent respectively.
