NEW YORK, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) -- Christmas tree sales are up 29 percent so far in 2020, according to the latest survey of retailers done by Evercore ISI, a top ranked independent firm in U.S. equity research. And there's evidence that people are getting larger trees and buying more home decorations.

"Tree retailers are having a spirited season this year, as Americans staying closer to home due to the coronavirus pandemic are turning the holiday spirit up a notch," U.S. national television network CNBC reported.
