NEW YORK, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices advanced on Friday after the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies agreed a slight production increase since January.
The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for January delivery gained 62 cents to settle at 46.26 U.S. dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, while Brent crude for February delivery increased 54 cents to close at 49.25 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
