ZAGREB, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Members of the Croatian Parliament adopted on Friday amendments to the Law on the Protection of Citizens from Infectious Diseases, introducing penalties for non-compliance with epidemiological measures to combat COVID-19.
The law stipulates a fine of 500 kuna (80 U.S. dollars) for not wearing a mask in places where it is mandatory and a fine of up to 10,000 kuna (1,600 U.S. dollars) if more than 10 people are present at private gatherings in apartments.
