OTTAWA, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Canada's international trade deficit was virtually unchanged at 3.8 billion Canadian dollars (about 2.97 billion U.S. dollars) in October, according to Statistics Canada on Friday.
In October, Canada's merchandise exports rose 2.2 percent, partially on higher exports of pharmaceutical products while imports climbed 1.9 percent, in part due to higher imports of cell phones.
